61-year-old dad secretly pays off kid's student loans, who finds out their dad did it by selling his beloved Harley: ‘He used every penny to clear my debt’

As much as most parents want to help their children and even ensure they never have to worry about money, we all know that parents cannot shield their kids from the hardship of adult life. At some point, every child has to face the real world on their own, and all parents can do is give them enough tools to make it on their own two feet.

That does not mean that parents would not give anything to ease their children's minds.

Take the amazing father in the story below as an example. He paid off his kid's $68,000 student loan without a word. When the kid got the news, they were sure it was a scam, but once they realized it was the truth, they immediately knew who was behind the incredibly generous donation.

When they called their parents, they learned that their dad had sold their beloved Harley to pay off the debt. A Harley that he had been repairing for decades, so he could enjoy during his retirement.

While it may have been a dream for years, for all you know, he has health issues that would make it impossible for him to handle it if he were to get into a rough spot. You go see him in person You throw your arms around him and kiss him on the cheek You tell him you love him very much and appreciate what he did for you and you won't let him down.
